OLD CHURCH LEAVERS.

A. THE CURRENT BASIC CHURCH
SYSTEM.

I am an old man. I accepted Jesus as my Savior in 1963. About seven years ago i left the Church.To a large degree this was due to the fact that i spent most of my time outside of the formal Church sharing the Gospel and loving the unloved. During those years i met many followers of Christ and learnt a great deal from them on a one to one level.
Then clashes started within the Churches that i attended and the Lord said to me to start to study the Word again. That was about eleven years ago. Before this i had attended two formal
Christian Colleges. I have learnt more in these eleven years about The King of Kings than all the years after my acceptance of Christ.
During these eleven years i started to clash with Ministers, Pastors etc and many more in the Church.
So why did i leave the Church?
One of reasons was that the Church is not as it was in the first century. But this is a subject to be discussed in detail in a separate post. Now the other reasons for leaving are:

1.AGE SEPARATION.
Being sixty five plus years of age i was told to attend a separate service.I could not find any reference to this separation in the Word.
2.SUNDAY ENTERTAINMENT.
If i decided not to attend the “Old age service” i was entertained by songs that had copyrights attached to them. Recordings were also played during the services and payments were made to those who had the exclusive rights to these songs. And who was worshipped via these songs?
I was and am still convinced that the word “i” was the most important word in these songs. Not Jesus Our King. The popular songs were repeated over and over again.
3.POLITICS AND CHURCH ARE ONE.
Now a short and straightforward remark. We were taught that the two must be separated. The other side is that we are told to pray for the government but the reasons for this were hardly ever taught.
4.SPIRITUAL SIDE OF THE CHURCH LARGELY IGNORED.
Spiritual warfare is only mentioned about certain people outside of the formal Church. Setting captives free is ignored. Who is the One who is ignored?
5.THE GOSPEL IS NOT CLEAR.
We are taught that the Gospel is about Jesus saving us. And at times “Once saved always saved” is said to be true. Jesus’s Kingship is largely ignored. His power and authority is not clearly seen or taught.
6. WHAT DID JESUS DO ON THE CROSS?
What is generally said is that He overcame sin and saved us. That is true but there is a great deal more!
7. RELIGION AND TRADITION.
What a waste of time and so seldom directly addressed as it could result in membership reduction. “Keep the audience happy”.
8.DEEDS HAVE INCREASED BUT PRAYER IS NEARLY GONE.
Now we see the connection to point no 7.
9.PERSONAL RELATIONSHIPS WITH THE KING ARE FEW.
This again connects to points 7 and 8.
10.THE CHURCH HAS MOVED BACKWARD TO THE OLD TESTAMENT.
How? Communion is a sacrifice. An Altar is present.Robes and smells are important things.”Do this in remembrance of Me” and the normal meal is gone!
Look at the seats as well. A group on the left and the right. Deep divisions are clear.
The pulpit is elevated and so is the stage. The building is huge despite the fact that Jesus said the Temple would be destroyed. Back to Babel?
11. WORSHIP IS SINGING.
We were made to worship God in all that we do. Not just singing.Were there worship services in the first century?
Answer is no.
12.THE FEAR OF THE LORD HAS GONE.
How did i know this?.It’s absence is felt in the Spirit as well as seen in the physical.
13.THE AUTHORITY OF JESUS THE KING AND THE HEAD OF THE CHURCH IS GONE.
Look at the various decision making processes. When last was Jesus allowed to make a decision? No voting at all allowed?
14.A FINANCIAL MESS.
Because most Church buildings are large and tall.
15.FELLOWSHIP IS SHORT.
Generally only on Sundays for a little while, tea included.
16.NUMBERS ARE IMPORTANT.
Sermons are presented to draw in more on a Sunday.
17.EVANGELISM.
Removed. Now done by “special ministries”
18.DECIPILESHIP.
Also gone,with a few exceptions.
19.SUNDAY SERVICE.
Taking part in the service has been gone for many years. I like to sleep at home.
20. SPIRITUAL HUNGER.
Read Psalm 42.
21.BIBLE STUDIES.
Usually controlled by one person.
22.HOME GROUPS
These are simular to churches found in the first century, but not as part of a larger structure. Here is some light!
23. SUNDAY SCHOOLS.
This is just like the Sunday Church.
These “little ones” have a weak start to their spiritual lives.

B.GOD CAN MOVE SOME OLD BELIEVERS TO BE ISOLATED FROM THE CHURCH AS WELL.

1. They become uncomfortable about a spiritually empty pulpit.
2. The Gospel is not understood.
3. They do not care about numbers at all.
4. Jesus is the One that matters. He is everything.
5 They will uncover religion.
6. They are driven to prayer.
7. They may be made prophetic.
8. They move without bitterness, judgement or hate.
9. They believe that Jesus and His Majestic Spiritual Power on the Cross did Everything.
10. In this place of isolation they must surrender in silence. They are then in the wilderness. A wonderfull place in which to be taught.
11. From all this flows a thing called Holiness that comes from their Master. The word Master to them is nothing new.
12. They will learn to speak truth with boldness.
13. In the wilderness there are no pulpits, stages for applause, elevation or recognition. No robes. No titles.
14. God marks them with tender hearts and truth.
15.If they return they do not trust believers.
15.They will pray for a second Reformation with all in them.
26.They will not look forward for the third temple as they are in fact the Third Temple.

C. CONCLUSION

Jesus is the Restorer. Before the hard times come He will have refined His Church totally in accordance with His Will. This has already started.

CHURCH VERSUS THE KINGDOM OF GOD TODAY.

The Church is shrinking daily. The numbers are now so low that it will disappear in about the next ten years if this “disappearance rate” continues.
What has been the source of this issue? After the first century the Church started to change right up to today. Things like sacrifices we reintroduced into the Church and slowly but surely religion increased and the Holy Spirit disappeared for a long time. Even today claims are made by many that they have the Holy Spirit in their lives but this cannot be seen at all.

Some, not all, of the problem sources are detailed as follows:

1. THE AUTHORITY OF JESUS THE KING HAS LARGELY DISAPPEARED.
Decisions are taken based on systems and structures within the Church and the King of Kings is ignored.

2. THE FEAR OF THE LORD IS NO LONGER IN THE CHURCH.

3. PRAYER HAS TO A LARGE EXTENT DISSAPPEARED. NO PRAYER. NO CHURCH?

4. DEEDS HAVE INCREASED.
But not lead by the Holy Spirit.

5. WHAT IS THE GOSPEL?
In the Gospels in the new testament, the Church is mentioned only twice.The Kingdom of God is mentioned one hundred and twenty six times. What is the Gospel? It is God’s new government based on love not laws. Have you heard this before?

6. INCREASED ACTIVITY BETWEEN CHURCH AND STATE.
The Church identity is nearly gone.

7. CHURCH IS NOW THE TRUTH.
Many different views are present and Jesus, The Truth, is ignored.

8. COMMERCIALISATION.
Some examples are Christmas and Easter. Worship songs and music are subjected to copyrights. And a lot more!

9. THE GREAT COMMISSION IS LARGELY IGNORED.
Keep contact with your brothers and sisters in your own Church. Then maybe tell some other people as well, how important is the Church.

10. DELIVERANCE.
The setting free of captives is also ignored.The Gospels all read together reflect the Great Commission which includes captives being set free by The King of Kings.
Children’s needs are almost totally ignored!

11. HEALING:
Again ignored to a large extent.

12. HOLINESS.
Not spoken about or taught.

13. OBEDIENCE.
Has been thrown away.

14. COMING TO CHURCH ON SUNDAYS IS NOT DISCIPLESHIP.

15. NO FELLOWSHIP BETWEEN DENOMINATIONS.
“I am better than you”.

16. RULES MUST BE REPLACED BY
LOVE.

17. JESUS MOVED US FROM DARKNESS INTO THE LIGHT.
Not acknowledged by most members of the Church.

18. WAR IN THE UNSEEN WORLD MOSTLY IGNORED.

19. REPENTANCE IS GONE.

20. FASTING IS GONE.

21. LIFE SKILLS GONE.

22. NO EXPECTATIONS FROM OUR KING.

23. WORSHIP “SERVICES”.
In the first century there were no worship “services” . Why? The interpretation of the original Greek words were incorrect . Please refer to Dr.Wadsworth, in America. Sunday gatherings according to Paul were held to “build up ”
(1 Corinthians 14:26.) There were no sermons.

24. MORE DOCTRINES ARE SOURCED FROM SONGS OF SO CALLED PRAISE.
Not from the Word of The Most High God.

25.THE FATHER TO THE FATHERLESS AND WIDOWS.
What is the Church’s involvement with orphans and widows? These are two groups of people that God has a special place for in His Heart. Most of the time non Church ministries such as non profit organisations care for them. Not the Church.

26. ACCOUNTABILITY IS GONE.

27. GENERATIONAL SEPARATION.
The elderly are set aside and have separate “Services”.This is but one example of generational separation . How can God be elevated by only one generation on it’s own? Like it or not. Start with the elderly and then move upward. His Majestic Power must be passed on from generation to generation. (Psalm 78)

28. NOT ONE MAN NOR ONE WOMAN CAN DOMINATE OR CONTROL ANY CHURCH.
ELDERS are referred in Scripture. They are the ones who have different Spiritual Gifts in order that they might serve the gathering as described in the New Testament.
There is not one person who controls the Church in Scripture. See :
1 Timothy 3 : 1-7, Acts 20:17, Hebrews 13 vs 17.”Pastor System” not in the Bible.

29. FIRST CENTURY CHURCH.
Look at 1 CORINTHIANS Chapters 11 to 14 as well as Acts 2:42-47.
These gatherings were held in homes. Not in huge buildings as done today. Read what King Jesus said about the Temple in Matthew 24.1-2. Gone! And the third Temple is on the way? No. We are the third temple. God lives in us. A great deal can still be said about the Church today eg about rebirth etc. but___.

30. WORSHIP IS ABOUT ME, NOT THE GOD MOST HIGH.
Once again so much can be said about this subject. But not right now. Worship is not singing but it is everything we do now and will do forever more.

31. WHO CAN “FIX” THE CHURCH?
Only the Head of The Church,
His name is Jesus. The King of Kings. But have you read the Word? Have you been reborn?
WE MUST HUMBLY OURSELVES BEFORE HIS THRONE AND ASK FOR FORGIVENESS. THEN ASK HIM TO FIX THAT WHICH WE ALL MESSED UP IN HIS HOLY CHURCH, IN ACCORDANCE WITH HIS WILL.

ELITE THE CHURCH .

For a long time the leaders of this world have been criticised by me. They have too much money, too many assets and too much power.This is true but they are not the only elite.Look at how the Church has changed since the first century.
After the Holy Spirit arrived things started to change quickly. Both in the Spiritual world and the Church which had just come into being. All believers in Christ were full of love,full of the Spirit of The Living God. Running about and sharing the Gospel. Loving one another and sharing all they had with the poor. Is this still the same today?
Read Acts chapter 2 vs 37 to 47
and compare that with the Church today!! Big difference.

Can we say that the Church is not elite? Look how the rich sold their assets and supported those who were in need. And how the activity amongst the believers in Christ grew and grew.They prayed together!
Communion together! We see how they interacted with one another!

I have looked at myself as a Christian and i hang my head in shame. What have i done? I have been part of a Church that did not act like this. Who am i to criticise others? Look at how evangelism has been removed from the Church and been placed in various “Special Ministries” throughout the world. WHAT?
Again look at all the NGO’S and NPO’S who are doing what the Church should be doing. Look at the things that governments are doing that the Church must do.
But here is a key weakness in the Church today.

The Holy Spirit is spoken about but ignored. And there is another unholy spirit called Kundalini.Be very aware of of this evil one.
(And by the way another lie, yoga is harmless and heals you.)In many denominations a degree is needed to be a Pastor, Bishop ,Reverend or whatever else. “The elite group”. Who should be teaching and leading us? Academics?
How far do you live from your Church? How do you get there?Walk, drive or fly? Surely our Churches should be in our Local Communities, close by. Lack of evangelism? Churches must be large?

Recently i read an application form for a particular ministry. “Do you play golf ?”
Elite?
How much did i learn when i was part of a Church lead by a Minister.Almost nil after 1985.
Then the time arrived and The King stepped in.Things started to change rapidly. I discovered nothing. The Holy Spirit revealed everything. Remember the wineskins in Mark 2 vs 22.
The Church urgently needs go back to where it started. We are already at the start of the end. Suffering is on it’s way.
Revelation 3 vs 20.Jesus is still knocking on the door of the Church.
Has Jesus been left outside of the Elite community?

THE CHANGING WORLD ORDER AND THE CHURCH THAT NEEDS TO CHANGE.

The world is in a mess. The word “chaos” is used often today.
Look at America. I have no doubt that America is the Beast that is referred to in Revelation . Donald Trump claims to be a supporter of democracy but over the years the various laws in America have been changed by both the Democrats and Republicans. Now we find the end result that has been established, namely a dictatorship. America was started by some Christians but things started to change quickly.
The reliance on God and His Majestic Power started to reduce. In 1 Samuel 8 the people of Israel applied democracy and went to God and asked for a king to rule them.
Here we see democracy coming to the tragic fore. The majority rejected God and they demanded a king to lead and rule them.
God gracefully allowed it to happen.
Americans are an empire which has changed over the years. The British Empire has collapsed like the others before it, namely that of the Romans, Greeks and some more. America is now heading in that direction. It will start when it’s economy collapses.
The UN has set out a plan to change the world so that we can have a new world order by 2030. The World Economic Forum is the leader of this new world order. Some items sound good but i doubt that totally. We will have one economy,one government and one faith. We must wake-up now, not tomorrow. AI could become a new religion? All citizens will have a number so that control can be exercised on all people on earth. The gap between the elite and the poor will increase. In 2015 a list was made of all the world events that occurred in September that year and is being compared with the same month in 2025. Big changes have occurred. The results will be posted soon.
Besides America two empires are doing well. Russia and it’s war against Ukraine and now looking at Nato and Europe as well. China is doing fine, slowly, silently and deadly.
The Middle East is still at war. Now let us see what happens there tomorrow.
European Union States are being invaded by Islam. The United King is being overwhelmed by Islam.The Church has collapsed and is silent.
It is not just the world that is in a mess. It applies to the Church as well.
My favourite book in the Bible now is Habakkuk.This small prophet starts off by complaining to God about the chaos in the world not once but twice! Then comes his prayer. Then he rejoices when he realises that The God Most High is still in control.
Most Christians live in America. Over the years the Evangelical Churches of numerous denominations have split into two. Abortions, LGBTQ and various other matters have been the cause. It is also visible to the world that Christians who go to Church on a Sunday being of many groups, denominations etc. have placed more trust in politicians than the Person that they visit on Sundays. To put it in another way. Christians have submitted to Governments. Where is their King? He is here, everywhere not just in a building, but in them if they truely believe. Are they in Him?
Religion has come to the fore.
Governments can be trusted. “They have power”. All first century like Churches have disappeared.
The Fear of the Lord has gone and so the Authority of Jesus the King. The expression of “one another” has been rubbed out. In Matthew 24 Jesus told the disciples that the Temple would be destroyed, which it was in 70AD by the Romans.
So now we are waiting for the third Temple? The third Temple is us.
Look at the Churches today. Tall buildings with altars, communion tables and no meals.
Only one person speaks and the rest listen or fall asleep.In the first century Churches were in homes in local communities. Read 1 Corinthians chapters 11 to 14 and see what Paul taught about Churches. All could participate and the 13th Chapter refers to The Churches, not weddings. These services or asseblies were there to edify each other. They were not worship services as we do today. Refer to Dr.Wadsworth and the interpretation of the Greek word “worship” and all related information.
Churches increase deeds and prayer is gone. The elderly are separated from the rest of God’s family. A great deal more can be said about the lack of discipleship and deliverance . Two more problem areas in the Church today. Worship or entertainment on a Sunday and commercialisation of Christianity.
Theses two are closely linked. Play music and sing and pay copywriters,amongst other things.
Churches are now involved in humanism, human rights and governments but forget about orphans and widows, these two groups that God lifts above others. The ordinary is no longer seen.
Then another problem area. What is the Gospel? How is it understood? King Jesus came to save us and when we hear this and believe in Him we are saved? Yes. But what sort of disciples are we? What is the full Gospel?
Can the Church today be described as optimistic?
Answer is no. Jesus saved us. He lead us from darkness into the Light. So in the start of the end let us look up to Him and glorify Him!
